What is this non-sense and why are you suggesting it?
Building ranks on the Creative server might help players be more interactive with the server. It inspires players to practice their building skills and have fun at the same time! If a player were to build a good quality build based on a moderators opinion, they could be given Tier 1 building rank, then continue onto the next tier, and so on so forth. Many Minecrafters search for these types of servers therefore, it may increase player activity and may attract more amazing builders!
What about copied plots?
While it may spark interest, it's also a possibility that players, sadly, will copy other's builds. There can also be another rank for that which a player can screenshot or provide some form of proof of copying another's plot and can report it on the forums. If the player in fact did copy based on the moderators opinion, they could be ranked as a Blacklisted rank. Blacklist would be a rank that alerts other staff members that they have copied another players plot and cannot be awarded future ranks. Further or different consequence could be an option.
Would it cause more trouble for staff members?
Furthermore, for ease of ranking applications, a player could post it on the forums their username, plot id, what rank they would need, and ect. A moderator(s) could go once a day at a set time for a "plot check". A "plot check" is where a moderator goes to the plot and sees if the players build has met the quality of rank wanted, and can reward them with a rank, or ask for improvement on the build provided.
Why should it be added/Additional thoughts?
This would also allow the HHG Build Team become more interactive with the Creative community by providing example plots and "tutorials" for tips on building. Also, they or a moderator(s) could host Building Competitions where multiple players can battle against each other and build the best in a given time. I personally think it would make the server become a much more interactive place, and help the server grow!
