The server runs on 1.8 so it shouldn't matter, and if it does it should be fixed as a lot of people still play 1.8, and downgrading to a different version doesn't downgrade the launcher.

Because the filter is broken as it is (add an underscore before or after and it bypasses, doing it with spaces in between each letter bypasses, pretty much anything you can think of bypasses it), and what if it's 2 people alternating spam so it doesn't look like either is spamming to the filter...

Server should downscale imo. Too many useless servers cluttering it up.
