Survival Games Voting System

As much as I love the voting system made, maps such as parkour world, nuke town etc are still played too often since we do not have a large number of maps, the selection given are moderately the same. Instead of picking the map based on how many votes it has it could be changed to a percentage and then is randomly picked. So this means if a map does not have the highest number of votes it can still has a chance of being played. For example lets say Nuketown has 4 votes, World at War has 3 and Parkour world has 1. This means nuketown has a 50% chance of being played, World at War has 37.5% and Parkour has 12.5% chance.

To work this out: Number of votes map has
----------------------------------- x 100
Total number of votes

So you add all the votes in this case 8. Then use the equal percentage of votes each map has....

- The more votes on the map increases the chance of it being played 0-x%
- All maps in the list has a chance of being played.

But, there is a downside to this. Some maps that are not played really are not enjoyable for the community hence why they choose opposing it, but if there is a way to fix this, I'm all up for it.

We could have a community vote soon to eliminate 1 or 2 of the 3 least played maps on the server? Something like that to clear out the bad maps. Maybe add some new?

One detail: those that receive no votes have no chance of being played if you use the equation:

(v/n)*100=p
Where:
v=votes for the map
n=total votes
p=percent chance
As for the maps not being played... I'm sure hhgn staff could set up a script that would count each time a map was played. If the map is played less than 10% of the times in a month or two, it should be replaced

I know only one server that has this type of voting, It is not actually good. I agree with Kaios maybe remove the maps that are not in the liking of the community. Maybe add some more that are very nice maps? (I know many maps that are very good and that are not on the server)

Nice idea! I'll work on it!
BTW, in order to deal with less liked maps, I'll introduce a system to rate the map after game ended and worst rated maps will be either removed or revamped :)
