Maybe you put too much oil/butter/whatever you used? xD Idk how else can stuff catch on fire..

But then again, I did grow up in a restaurant. I learned how to cook at a young age

How...? Like you literally just whip together some batter. Stick some butter on the ban put the batter on then fry it until the bottom is golden. Then you flip it until the other side is done. Bam you got some pancakes.

3C Flour, 4T sugar, 4t baking powder, 1t salt, 1t baking soda, 3C milk, 4 egg, 2t vanilla, 4T vegetable oil.

I've never made pancakes in my life xD I'd rather spend the time doing homework

This is mine -> eye balling the batter (hafe the box), blue berries (eyeball that), sugar, baking Soda, egg, oil all eyeballed
