Hello, I'm Square, and I have some IMPORTANT things to point out..
Me being very new to the Server adds a huge perspective on this. I only joined the Server a couple weeks ago; I found out that Zainos was the Owner. I made that Welcome thread on the General Discussion, almost every Staff Member replies...EXCEPT Zainos.
I then questioned that factor, as to what he may be up to, and why is was "inactive". I started asking Staff, and none had a total clue as to what he was doing, except for, "busy" with "school". That really upsets me that I join a Server, super friendly, all the Staff, EXCEPT for Zainos...
Next up, I start to engage with the community, and apply for Builder. Nobody replies.. But, at least some Staff like Superps and ChrisTheLink actually considered into talking to me about my Application. They told me how my Plot qualified, and the twists, and turns. But, Zainos was NEVER on.. as of what I knew.
I then found out that the command, "/staff" was a thing. Whenever I found a Hacker on KitPvP, or King of the Ladder, I would do that command. 90% of when I do that command, Staff that are loyal to the Server are in panic & stress with other things rather than catching Hackers. Other times, it's inactive Staff. Nobody's ever on.
The Server Crash. I have a lot of things to say about this..
When people were own during the Server crash, it was a living-hell. Yeah, I don't mean to say Vulgar/Inappropriate language, but it was absolutely terrible. People were stuck in the Hub for about a day or two, doing nothing. Luckily some people had fun, which is what I enjoy...but, people have constantly been saying, "Why the **** is <Server Name> down!?!?!?!?#@!". And they'd spam it about 50 times for someone to reply. That most likely followed up a Report, in which I felt super bad for them. A lot of these people are clueless Players who joined the Server just to experiment something. It really bothers me that that Server would be down, new Players come on, and then they leave straight away as soon as they come on, because EVERYTHING is DOWN..
A couple weeks later, I noticed bunches of lag. 1) Either the Server host was just funky that day, or 2) Zainos just wasn't having a good day, but it was so laggy that when I'm on PvP, I can't get any kills. It was straight up lag. Everyone was constantly glitching. I thought it would wear off after a day or two, yet it continues to progress unto a big pit of lag. It really bugs me that he still wouldn't come on. Keep in mind, I'm fairly new to this Server, and I have NEVER even spoke with the Owner yet. This is a big jump of my perspective. I am hearing these things about him, and I'm ALREADY forming a personality of him..
The Server Banner...
So, apparently he posted a contest about making a Server Banner on October 19th, 2014. He hasn't been on in a month, approximately. I decide to make a Banner for the Server. I finish my Banner, and the time comes to the Due date, the 20th..I then wait about 2 days, trying to decipher who would be the winner. He's still not on. You would think he'd be on for a Special event like that?
I finally hear about him not replying to any Staff's Skype, and I see ChrisTheLink's rant. He's obviously not in the mood for a Minecraft Server, so why host one? At least give your Staff privileges to Promote/Demote and such. An abusive Moderator/Admin could just grief the Server right now, and there would be nothing to stop them. I mean, really....Chris doesn't have the permissions even to Pex.
On top of all this, I know about Stevessonsson's Application toward Moderator, and as he got accepted. I heard that he still needed to have his, "interview". Nobody has interviewed him in a month or two, as I have heard from him. I also found out that Zainos seems to be picking NEW Staff; after the fact that he already said Steve got accepted. He is picking people new. Sort of like, "We liked you then, but not anymore. We're hiring them now." Now people are resigning because of the fact that everything is inactive. Soon we won't have Staff, and it will fall to ruins..
Yet, even though we have reserved Staff, there is still so many unread posts; some Mods aren't able to get to it because they are dealing with another Hacker, when there is already 50 Posts to review, and go over. It really adds stress on all the Staff when people have Posts, and they are begging for Staff to read it. I do it myself sometimes, as it really is important to get the Player their punishment. There are constant bug Reports, about Voting, and things in general. None of these bugs are possible to fix unless Staff takes notice of them. Zainos has the most permissions, and I don't think he's been taking notice of them, as anyone else would think. Chris is busy working his butt off with School, and Personal Issues. Do you guys really think that he would be able to do Real-Life things, take care of constant bugs, and Hacker Reports all by himself? No!
Please guys, do not stress the Mods, Admins, Owners, or Players out. Nobody likes to be stressed.
The reason I decided to make this rant is all my choice, and all my decisions. I felt the need to post this because I can't handle any lag anywhere at any time. I can't handle the Hackers, the Spammers, and the constant arguments. I can't handle the inactive Staff. I'm a Default Rank-there's nothing I can do besides wake you guys up. Wake up Happy-HG.. Wake up..
I'm stepping up towards the health of the Server, and what it's worth. I believe that it can become something if we all try..
