Have any of you heard of the phrase often used by parents "Video games rot your brains?" Well, hah, watch their faces as you know the truth.
Video gaming has been around for almost a hundred years, and it's been so familiar to us it is impossible
to look at a friend playing a game on the computer/T.V. and not know what they are doing. It's become so even 3 year olds are playing them, and actually know what to do. The reason of all this? Evolution. For all of those who don't believe that the famous Theory of Evolution is true, you win a cookie! Apes and humans are different. The reason they are is because apes exist, and if they were to evolve, that would mean that humans are being reborn. But the kind of evolution I'm talking about, is structural and adaptational evolution.
For instance, McDonalds, that place with hamburgers and french fries we all know so dearly, has actually been a reason that humans have become monsters in obesity. Not only is McDonalds a reason, but video games are also some subjects. They have evolved the minds of people, making them hunger for screen-time. If you play a video game and enjoy it a lot, there is a VERY high chance of you being addicted to them. This computer/iPhone/tablet/iPod you are looking at this horrible and surprising truth is only playing you into a wild goose chase, trying and hungering to find/get a video game so incredibly tempting, that people have gotten used to them so much. McDonalds and other fast food places have changed our diets so much that we have to have food 3 times a day. When back then, you only needed to eat once every week to survive. And the entertainment we got as-well was only as entertaining as a dead phone (in our ages) but then, it was as entertaining as a field trip to China with 50 computer games with a free laptop for everyone. So when you see a McDonalds or a video game, just know the reason you want them, is because of your mind.
Everything you have ever seen is all in your mind, everything is a dream dreamed by a true treasure chest of a mind. So everything you have learned... is your fault.
You don't have to do all of this, and nor do I.
But we do anyways.
Do you even believe it's worth it to know 'McDonalds is sure better than no food for a week!' when really, when you think you're right, you are all wrong?
