Out of the consoles I will always be a PlayStation guy. It was the first console I ever played on and I have all 4 of them.

But since this thread is titled Nintendo Switch I will share my thoughts. It's a great idea, and it looks like it actually has a decent line up of games for it. My only concerns would be the 780p screen (bigger pixels) and how well the causal audience receives it. If they can capture the general audience better than they did with the WiiU it will be successful.

Yes you did. You forgot that some people prefer Mac or Linux based systems

I would say PlayStation. I have an Xbox 1 now but that's the only Xbox console I've had, up until now I've always used PlayStation due to Mortal kombat always being better on PlayStation up until now in which I find Xbox better, basically whatever console is better for Mortal kombat I'll get that. The next console generation I'm not sure, but for now I'll put my vote for PlayStation as it's 2 to 1 over Xbox.

As for Nintendo switch, honestly I couldn't give a damn bout that I just wanted to post my thoughts on the consoles lol. Oh yeah and also I on (No not the newest Smash bros that's complete garbage, I'm speaking of the 3rd one not the 4th one if you care lol), that's all though the system itself is pretty trash compared to Xbox or PlayStation so I choose them over a Wii.

My playstation membership has ended so I mostly play on my new PC! I love Playstation. I do like nintendo but I rather play older games like gamecube games. Dont really enjoy new nintendo games. However I did enjoy Super Mario Galaxy.

If you're a gamer, and you are using a mac then walk out the front door. Mac is only used for work mostly and this thread is about gaming systems. Linux just isn't compatible with most games. He was right to leave them out.

I never said it was for gaming, I said that some people prefer them. I myself like linux the best because of its user interaction and the ability to modify it extensively. I would not game on linux though

Exactly what I'm saying this thread was made for your opinion on gaming consoles. Not for other types of systems that don't support games.

New Fire Emblem games announced today, including one for mobile, a remake for 3DS (95% sure it's a remake, don't quote me) and a Dynasty Warriors esc game for the Switch.

Forgot to mention a Fire Emblem game for the Switch coming 2018. The 3DS game is a FE Gaiden remake, and FE Warriors is also coming to the New 3DS.
