Explain what is the bug and how to repeat it: In 1.11 some spawn eggs have changed to just being white and gray and saying "Spawn"

It's a Minecraft 1.11 visual bug, caused by the version compatibility patch that allows players using 4 different Minecraft versions (1.8, 1.9, 1.10 and 1.11 respectively) to connect and enjoy the server simultaneously.
