Minecraft not working

Can anyone help me with my minecraft. The reason I have not been on the server is because my minecraft will not open. I click it, get the message to run it, i click run and nothing happens. If anyone knows how to solve this please tell me. I really want to return to the server. And also in case you didnt get it from this post, I have NOT quit the server, my minecraft simply will not open. :cry:

Try running it as administrator, if you right-click it, it should give you the option to run as admin of your pc, if you are not admin of your pc/laptop, then that's why you're having issues

(I used to need to run MC as admin, and my dad still has to)
