I'm pretty sure but can your world just be single player until you share it? It doesn't have to be on a private server correct? Just making sure before I get to far with the map XD...

It is completely fine to be singleplayer! I personally like building on my private server, but it is ok to build on singleplayer!

I build on my server to use plugins such as multiverse, worldedit, and voxelsniper..
