I think someone has suggested live chat before, but I forgot who, so I'm going to suggest it again. It would just be a cool feature if added.

Profile posts don't count towards your messages, so I don't believe that would be considered spamming. I could be wrong however

A live chat would be interesting for registered users, as long as its carefully monitored.

I would kind of like the idea of chatrooms, for you can invite your friends into a private room to chat in, although that is kind of like private messaging
