I tested this many times and it works, are you really sure of this? Remember the Vanillia hit boxes are different while on horse, it's way harder to hit while mounted!

Sorry to revive the topic but I got multiple vids. I play with a horse 24/7 and the hitbox is not like this at all, it can't be my ping since that is pretty decent.

Even though, the video does show the glitch, to me, this is just a video of Link dominating.

I don't really think anyone can do anything about this, it happens on all servers, horse pvp is just bad

As Unitus Said, that's a Minecraft itself issue and only Mojang can fix it. Please report Minecraft specific bugs at https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC
