Hey, so I was thinking of making a thread related to homework, I want to hear everyone's comments if you disagree or agree with homework, let the discussion begin!

I think he means whether students should be doing homework.

No. Teachers expect you to understand it, then when you don't you get in trouble for not doing it, and they are like "not understanding is not an excuse" plus, after school clubs and sports, schools are like "do many clubs it looks good on your college forums" but how do they expect me to do all my homework, do clubs, and get enough sleep so I can focus in class. homework is just an inconvenience. Also I disagree with summer work. Because summer is supposed to be a break from school...

I agree. Being a high level gymnast in advanced classes, homework is the ultimate sleep deprivation for me.

I go to a project based school so we do projects all day i have almost no homework ever.

Allow students to do homework if they want to do well, and give incentives (like extra credit) if they do it, but don't make it required.

Some people like to prioritize. Having like 6 classes with 6 different homework project can get overwhelming and ridiculous. Have them be able to choose which homework they wanna do based on how they are doing in the class

I'm taking 3 AP classes, plus 1 honors class this year, plus marching band, having to travel on fridays and sometimes weekends for football games. I'm never going to finish my homework this year xD

Yes and no.
Yes for homework with textbooks, because they can help you get through problems.
No for homework without textbooks (mainly K-3/4 homework), because you're just told to do the problems and if you don't know how... well... 2 bad 4 u
