Fixed Chickens aren't laying eggs in SkyBlock

I recently got some chicken spawn eggs and spawned two chickens. I've mated them a couple times so I have around 6 right now, but so far none of them have laid eggs. I've tried waiting with them for 15 minutes and waiting away from them and checking back every so often. Not a single egg in sight. There are no requirements for egg laying, so what's going on? Is it a bug?

I tested many times and asked many skyblock players and they all reported chickens were laying eggs successfully... It may take some time but they effectively lay eggs, are you really sure you are experiencing this problem?
