Global Caps Filter

Lately I've seen players often using excessive caps in their message,could it be possible that a filter be set to avoid, or lessen this happening in the future? Possibly 6 consecutive letters allowed in caps, but any more it automatically changes the sentence to lowercase or something along those lines, it could potentially lessen the constant abuse of caps

There's already something like this. I don't know what exactly the limit is, but I think it is based on a percentage of the message. If you try to type a long line of caps it will automatically set it to lowercase. =)

From what I've seen in parkour, people have typed entire messages and they've been entirely in caps

If you write all caps then 30% of your message will be in caps and the rest is not ... I'm pretty sure but only if you make like .,' < things like that

Personally, I find the use of excessive caps annoying and frustrating to read. It's basically a way of people getting more attention and solves nothing in the long run.

I think the limit is like what someone else said, 30% of the entire message space, not the message itself. So if (for example) if the entire space you could use is 100 characters, then I think as long as your message is under 31 characters, it could be all caps

That seems a bit pointless in my opinion, since excessive caps isn't permitted, it would make sense to do it so only 30% of the characters in the message could be caps. Important words such as player names, short words (2 or 3 letters) to emphasize a point, or the first letter in every sentence should in my opinion be the only thing the caps filter doesn't affect. The current one if there is one is solving nothing at this point in time

Abusing CAPS, this means that you can’t use caps for more than 30% of your message
