building a skywars map when creative is down

I was wondering... say you want to build a skywars map, but creative is down can you just go to single player then build a map there then post that? Creative has been down a lot lately and I want to build a skywars map. so would I be able to do that?

You might be able to if you took screen shots and posted them and they liked them, and then you could re-create it in creative when it is up.
