Kit PvP Assists and Hunger

Hello my ominous owners of da server and lil civi.

ASSISTS
For all those annoying times some player comes and kills the person your about to kill, you should do an assist system. Whoever has done most damage to the player gets the kill in the end, but whoever helped kill him/her will get a small bonus, no coins but like 10 xp.

HUNGER
For all those annoying times when your chasing down a nub but he keeps running indefinitely and doesn't have to stop.

REWARDS
You should make the kill reward on a player differentiate over time. If you have continuously been hitting that player, say for 5 minutes, you will get 2 coins or 60 xp but it can't go over 5 min or else everyone will be abusing this system, and there should be a timer if a player has killed a player in the maximum of 5 minutes the next time the player spawn he has full immunity from the other player for 1 minute or 30 or 15 seconds.

HEADSHOT (n stuff)
You should add a different damage area to different parts of the body, say i hit the feet, it does like 0.5 dmg but gives them slowness, or hits head, 2-3 dmg but gives the player that was hit "Rage" or strength, or if the arm is hit the weapon is moved to another location in the hotbar.

INVESTING
Theres players who want to buy something but it costs too much and just spend money on other stuff. So investing! (or waterer u call it) You deposit money on a kit and over time it generates money (1 coin every 12 hours) the more coins u put in the faster the coins it generates. ( 500 coins = 2 coins generated per day) (1000 coins = 4 coins generated per day) (2000 coins = 6 coins every day MAX Money u can make) once it reaches the kits number all the money u generated in it will buy the kit, the money can't be moved and if u wanna refund u only get half of what you put in to buy the kit.

Ill be working on more ideas, please read before giving feedback.

  1. No, assists are not a good idea. If you kill them you kill them, if you dont you dont. Simple
  2. Sure its annoying, but its part of pvp. If you dont like it, buy a kit with speed
  3. I dont like the idea of timed rewards. It can easily be farmed, and just isnt a good idea
  4. Damge differentiation, maybe. The effects, ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is Kit pvp, not "ultramod pvp". It should be about getting kills to buy better kits, and then using skill to get to the top of the leaderboards. I strongly disagree with the effects you mentioned.
  5. No. Just no. This would greatly imbalance the economy, and goes against the concept of kit pvp. You kill people to get your money, not "put it in a bank".
There is no need to change the Concept of what we have as kit pvp now. The only things that should be added are new kits, and only if they are well balanced.

I agree with everything mostly everything Trenly said (^) except the damage variations based on where you hit the person. That doesn't seem like a good idea. The main reason being that kill aura is automatically on the players head. That's not fair. Also, no one has ever "trained" for pvp and aimed for the head. It is always the chest (largest area) or legs (better hit reg and also completely opposite from the head).
