It isn't the players responsibility to get more players on. That would be like an owner of a company asking customers to bring in more customers. If new players aren't coming that is the fault of staff and the owner.

True. Next person is concerned for the server because the staff that haven't quit yet are hardly on, the numbers are dropping daily and factions has been in development for ages.

reducing the blocks would make it hard to get to the center island. maybe have an world border that gets closer and closer to the center forcing people inland.

I like the addition of the all time leaderboard as well. So you can still shoot to be number one overall not just the season

This can be done with all gamemodes, make month long "seasons" where people try to get to the top and have rewards for top placers. This can increase the drive to play (which is why many companies do it) as well as making the leader boards more accurate and mean something

Giving credit to servers for making a game mode or builders for making maps that are directly stolen won't make more people like the game but you should give credit where credit is due.

Weird how one of the only"original" gamemodes is doing the worst and the ones on many other servers are doing the best. Since this is the case maybe taking from other servers isn't the worst idea. But we should give credit to those servers who created the gamemode and the map builders who made...
