EPICMATT88 has covered most of what I think about this map. I suggest adding some more detail to middle, something green would look good, maybe some sort of vortex. You may even want to lift the middle up a little, give it a higher range. This could be a good map if you just change a few things.

This is a very good effort. I really like the mushroom houses. However, as _be said, too much grass, you may want to cover up some of it and maybe add some more texture too. Overall this map is very well done and I wouldn't be surprised if it got accepted, just as long as you change what we've said.
