Survival Games A New DM

Today I would Like to discuss about a new "DM" Probably what I would think is a dm on the original map.
Just to let you know this is my option so you guys don't have to be agreeing with me a 100% because you guys may have different minds/thought's. what I'm just saying it would look better for a dm at an original map.
and probably add a 10sec time to it. if you think that "Probably" become a gr8 idea then go for it!
if not then don't bother to comment.

I wasn't on this server when the old dm was there so would someone be able to send some pictures or tell me some info about it then I can voice my opinion on this idea

It was basically just the start pedestals of each map in SG. We would get teleported to our pedestals 10 seconds before dmatch where we would have to wait for the timer to be 0 so that we could move. Adding to this I think there was a border so that you couldn't run away or you would get struck by lighting.

This seems like a cool idea but I dislike the lightning strike. The lightning would ruin the game as then it wouldn't be PvP in dm it would just be a smack and your dead lol. I agree with the border idea where it like moves in smaller and smaller each second to make dm shorter, Nice idea

No it would still be pvp, it only strikes you if you happen to try run out a few blocks from the pedestals, keeping in mind you are where the map starts

I think this is an okay idea, but I feel a custom DM for each arena could be cool as some maps (namely Breeze island, Haunted, Enterprise, and a few others) are not ideal for pvp.

Also keep in mind this would require adding enchantment tables and other items to spawn that are in the DM arena. It would not be a very practical idea

I don't see how a custom dm would take much time. As new maps are submitted, people could include their own DM. Any that are currently on the server could have a DM built by the community. Now each map is currently set to the same DM, but having separate DM's shouldn't be an issue. I know that it would not take much time for myself and a few others to make DM's for Haunted, Holiday Resort, Mars Mission, Zone 85, World At War, and possibly a few others.

Also, with having the DM at spawn, as I said, you would need an enchanting table and other DM items and some are not well suited to pvp.

Deathmatch should not be apart of the map because Pooplex has that and I personally thing it is very bad. Not all cornucopias on this server as Trenly said "are not well suited to pvp" and I agree with him.

The idea of adding a border that slowly decreases is a great idea though

You don't have to add that, some maps already have enchantment tables which they can use beforehand.
