I quit orchestra after my freshman year in High School. I played cello from 5th-9th grade, and then couldn't stand the teacher in high school

Why did they quit and why do you want to...?

Our orchestra teacher retired last year, so we have a new teacher this year. He plays extreme favoritism within the cello section especially, and seats us unfairly. His two favorite cellists didn't take orchestra second semester, and my sister and her friend only took band because they hate orchestra. I really wanted to, but I couldn't leave them with only 2 cellists in the whole school.

Oh :/ I'm glad I had a great band teacher when I was in band. He was awesome.
