I have a suggestion. For spawn when you leave, there should be a non-pvp zone 360° around the spawn with a radius of like 20 blocks and outside that spawn killing is or , can you mark out spawn, because many VIPs like me have been banned for not knowing where spawn killing is considered. Or just all out allow spawn killing, because we have obelisks for a reason. It's your guys choice.
