I believe it is just one. It's been a while since I played skyblock though.

Just one. It says the amount under the item.

Anti pay is correct. I bought one once.

The easier way to get 12 is by completing challenges. One of the sky lord challenges asks for 1 diamond block, 9 emerald, 15 gold, 27 iron (I think those numbers) all blocks, and then a beacon.

The reward is a notch Apple, full diamond armor, and 12 portal frames
