Explain: There is a missing ladder on madness in the giant mushroom making it impossible to get up. I found this while I was spectating.

You should still be able to get up, I think you just need to stay towards the back side of the block. That is, unless they changed the code for them.

No, I don't think you've ever been able to go up a gap of between two ladders.

Edit: Its is NOT possible. I just tested in creative.

They changed the code for them in beta 1.5...
In beta 1.4 you could have ladder, air, ladder, air and continue but since beta 1.5 you can't
