Is their a way to change your forum username that was never your username after you change your username?

Top right.
Scroll over where your forums name is written in light blue above the search bar.
A box will appear.
There will be two columns in said box. In right column, the second to last option is "Update Username."
I shall leave the rest to your imagination...

A message will come up saying 'Invalid UUID' or something. PM a staff member to change it for you if this happens.
