I think there should be an easier way to get coins, not from just buying it on the store or getting mad kill streaks. There should be a multiplier by rank and kill streaks. For an example:
blazingfire30218 got a 10 kill streak! He/She got a 2x multiplier!

I like your multiplier idea. I feel like that may already be in place, but I'm not 100% positive.

You get 1 more coin every time you get a kill streak of #, but it only adds one, and is very hard to get kills. (THE KILLSTEALS!!! =( )

Also for a rank multiplier,
2nd rank+ 2x multiplier
4th rank+ 3x multiplier
6th rank+ 4x multiplier
or make it a little nerfed, but it's still kinda good
