First off first you can get the chests off spawn or just go the other way. I usually don't go spawn because other routes have more chests.
So once you get your chests either a sword or armor. Wear the ARMOR! If sword, use sword at spawn so you get the other people's loot. If both, use both!

So, any map is okay.

If someone is hitting you RUN! Don't go back for them until your fully healed. Unless you can get them on fire with flint and steel. If you can get them on fire with flint and steel it's a advantage they have knockback so they can't turn quickly and you have 4 seconds to attack. But, don't do it if you have 1 - 3 hearts, they can still attack.

PvP tips: To go 1v1, strafe. Strafe is going side to side attacking they have to turn their screen to hit you back. Or you can use a fishing rod, but this is still a beginner guide. So if you strafe you have to go around them. A flint and steel could be a great advantage.

So, deathmatch is coming. Everyone is stacked and looks powerful. Look to your side and click your sword hinting them to team. They will usually team. Then go for the other 2 and kill them. Then you guys can decide and wait to fight.
