No, it shouldn't disappear but you can take a screenshot showing you have the rank and some screenshots of your stats so that you have proof incase things do disappear.

Your rank is tied to your UUID. Changing your name should have no effect on your rank, but as CrayolaCrayonz said, it would be best to take a screenshot in case it does disappear.

In the rare occasion it does disappear, you can always post a bug report here on forums and Zainos will be able to fix it for you.

It shouldn't disappear, I've changed my name about 5 times and my PeaceKeeper rank has never disappeared.
