I thought of an idea for a gamemode, The Gold Barrage!
Do note, that I thought of this map, so I have no clue if any other server has this.
The point of the game is for 2 teams to ravage the enemy for all the gold they can. A person can take gold from that person's team to keep it safe with them, but if they die, the gold taken with that person is given to the person who kills them. There are also hidden chests around the area that will give gold. Whenever a team reaches 3000 gold, that team wins.
So here is some more in depth information.
Gold Info:
-If you kill someone with 20 or more gold with them, you get half more of their gold. So if you kill someone with 30 gold, you get 45. (30+15)
-Hidden chests have 100 gold each.
-You can spend some gold for items like Gold Dice which gives you a random amount of gold,
or swords or armor. (More info below)
-If you kill someone with over 100 gold with them, you get a Golden Apple.
-If you are killed with a Golden Apple, that person gets the effects of a Golden Apple immediately.
Kill/Death Info:
-If you are killed, you will be dead for 5 seconds.
-Everyone has 5 lives, and if you run out, you are changed to Spectator Mode.
-If you kill someone with no gold, you still get gold, but only 10.
Item Info:
Wood Sword: Costs 100 gold
Gold Sword: Costs 80 gold
Stone Sword: Costs 150 gold
Iron Sword: Costs 260 gold
Diamond Sword: Costs 400 gold
Leather Armor: Costs 200 gold
Gold Armor: Costs 240 gold
Chain Armor: Costs 300 gold
Iron Armor: Costs 400 gold
Gold Dice: Gives you either 30,40,50, or 60 gold. Cost: 40
TNT: Costs 500 gold
Player Info:
-There are 10 players on each team
-Depending on which team you are on, you get a dyed helmet. (Red or Blue)
-If your team wins, you get 5 coins which can be sold in the store for 3 gold each.
