Skyblock enderchests

I started a skyblock and have a few things in my enderchest. If someone were to invite me to their island (consequently destroying my own), would I loose the items in my enderchest?

Yes, this has happened to me in the past and my enderchest was filled with my belongings, take them out before accepting an invite or deleting your own island.
