Fixed Mob Spawner Bug

It seems that when I place down a mob spawner nothing spawns out of it. I watched it for like 5 mins and nothing happened idk if anyone else is having this problem but please fix. Thank You.

On what server?

If you're trying to spawn hostile mobs (zombies,skeleton), make sure the room is dark.
If you're trying to spawn non-hostil mobs (cows,pigs,chicken) make sure there is light.
My base has spawners and they work perfectly

He is right. Also, for non hostile mobs make sure u are placing the spawner in grass and there is grass blocks near it...
