How To Delete And Island

Two friends of mine messed up and created a new island instead of joining mine.
I was wondering how they can delete their island so they can join mine.
Please help me out.

You are not able to delete an island but you can invite them and their island will be gone!

Yes you can, their island will be deleted though.
Or they can transfer leadership using /is makeleader <username>
