I found out in medieval if you click the sign for the last check point you can slowly fall for about 5 seconds this can let you glide through the whole thing if your fast and should be fixed

sounds like your internet is too laggy so it doesn't update the chunks

seems like you are just lagging all over the place

Invalid bug, as Unitus said, it seems you lost connection to the server or were having a really bad connection that caused that to happen. I'm sorry
